Shipping policy

Chelsea Fine Furnishings offers local delivery and free in-store pickup. We do not offer nationwide parcel shipping on furniture.

Store Pickup

Customers may select in-store pickup at checkout. You will be notified when your order is ready. A valid photo ID is required for pickup.

All merchandise must be inspected at the time of pickup. Once merchandise leaves our facility, it is considered accepted.

Local Delivery

We offer local delivery within our service area (from our Warehouse in Sterling, VA):

  • Delivery within 20 miles: minimum $1,000 order
  • Delivery within 20-50 miles: minimum $5,000 order
  • Deliveries beyond 50 miles: not availabe online, contact us

Delivery, handling, and service fees, if applicable, are non-refundable.

Delivery scheduling will be coordinated after purchase.

In-Home Delivery & Assembly

Chelsea Fine Furnishings offers in-home delivery and, in some cases, in-home assembly. Assembly services are limited to standard manufacturer-intended assembly only and do not include wall mounting, electrical work, plumbing, or structural modifications.

Our delivery teams will not remove doors, windows, railings, or perform structural modifications.

Delivery Conditions

Customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring adequate access to the home (doorways, stairways, elevators, hallways, ceiling height, and turning clearances)

  • Securing parking and delivery access

Chelsea Fine Furnishings is not responsible for damage due to insufficient access, inaccurate customer-provided information, or pre-existing conditions.

Delivery Acceptance

All merchandise must be inspected upon delivery. Any visible damage must be noted before the delivery team leaves.

Claims for concealed damage or defects must be made within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Ownership and responsibility for merchandise transfers to the customer upon delivery or pickup.

Failed or Rescheduled Deliveries

If a delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, access issues, or refusal of delivery, the merchandise may be returned to our facility. Redelivery, handling, or storage fees may apply.
