Refund policy

Chelsea Fine Furnishings is a specialty furniture and home furnishings retailer. Many of the products we offer are custom, made-to-order, or ordered specifically for each customer. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

Custom & Special-Order Furniture

All custom, made-to-order, and special-order furniture is final sale and may not be cancelled, returned, or refunded once the order has been placed.

In-Stock Merchandise & Online Purchases

Eligible in-stock furniture and online accessory purchases may be returned within seven (7) calendar days of delivery or in-store pickup, with original receipt and in original, unused condition. All returns are subject to inspection and approval.

Returned merchandise must be:

  • In like-new condition

  • Free of stains, odors, damage, pet hair, or signs of use

  • With original packaging where applicable

Approved returns may be issued as:

  • Store credit, or

  • Refund to the original form of payment, less any applicable fees.

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply on approved furniture returns.

Delivery, handling, and in-home assembly fees are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom and special-order items

  • Mattresses and bedding (for health and hygiene reasons)

  • Clearance and floor models

  • Personal-use items

Damages & Defects

All merchandise must be inspected at the time of delivery or pickup.

Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt. Concealed damage or defects must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Claims submitted after this period may not be honored.

Chelsea Fine Furnishings reserves the right to repair, replace, or reorder damaged or defective merchandise at our discretion.

Cancellations

Orders cancelled after forty-eight (48) hours, after merchandise has been ordered from the manufacturer, or after production has begun may be subject to cancellation fees or may be non-refundable.
