Fitz Fine Furniture is a premier furniture store in Sterling, Virginia, serving customers across Loudoun County, Northern Virginia, and the surrounding area. Founded by Michelle and Mike Fitz, our showroom was created to offer something different: high-quality furniture, thoughtfully curated design, fair pricing, and a comfortable, no-pressure shopping experience.
For Michelle and Mike, Fitz Fine Furniture is both a business and a personal new chapter. As recently featured in the Loudoun Times-Mirror (Loudoun Couple Finds Love After Loss and Opens New Business Together), their path to opening the showroom was anything but ordinary, but shaped a shared belief that home should feel beautiful, comfortable, and deeply personal.
Fitz Fine Furniture began as the next chapter for Chelsea Fine Furnishings, a trusted Loudoun County furniture store for more than 15 years. After Mike and Michelle Fitz acquired Chelsea, they retained the experienced Chelsea team and then relocated the business to its current showroom at 1100 W. Church Road in Sterling, the former IMI Furniture showroom.
The move gave Fitz Fine Furniture the opportunity to pair Chelsea’s long-standing reputation for service, including its A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, with a refreshed showroom, new collections, updated systems, and a more curated shopping experience. Under the continued leadership of Shayan and Yaser, the showroom carries forward the trust customers appreciated at Chelsea while introducing new ideas.
Michelle, a local interior designer, brings a refined eye for style, proportion, and livability. Mike contributes decades of business leadership experience and a shared belief that buying furniture should feel inspiring, transparent, and enjoyable. Together, they are reimagining what a Northern Virginia furniture showroom can be.
Following our grand opening in May 2026, Fitz Fine Furniture is proud to bring fresh energy to a familiar local furniture destination. The showroom represents a new chapter for furniture shopping in Loudoun County, combining premium brands, curated room settings, experienced design guidance, and a more personal approach to service.

Michelle has spent over 15 years designing luxury interiors and curating high-end furniture for clients ranging from Fortune 500 executives to professional athletes to families seeking comfort and style. Known for creating modern yet inviting spaces, she combines sophistication with warmth in every project. With deep industry connections and a reputation as a true mover and shaker, Michelle brings exclusive access and fresh ideas to her clients. Fitz Fine Furniture is the realization of her lifelong passion—bringing the joy of beautiful, comfortable living to others.
Mike Fitz
Mike has more than 30 years of telecom leadership experience and recently retired from his executive role while continuing to serve on public company boards. He brings a practical, hands-on approach to Fitz Fine Furniture, combining his background building and operating complex businesses with a long-standing passion for home design, architecture, and technology. Mike is closely involved in every aspect of the business, focused on creating a seamless, thoughtful experience—from discovering the right pieces to delivering them into the home.
Shayan Arani
Shayan Arani has built an outstanding reputation at Chelsea Fine Furnishings, where his knowledge, service, and personal touch earned him a loyal following. Many clients return again and again—not just for the furniture, but for the trust and care Shayan brings to every interaction. With a gift for matching people to pieces that fit their homes and lifestyles, and with strong industry relationships, he ensures every customer experience feels personal, welcoming, and memorable.
Yaser Sarji
Yaser Sarji is both a trusted design consultant and the operational heartbeat of our company. With experience teaching furniture and design in Europe, he brings a depth of knowledge that helps customers choose pieces perfectly suited to their homes. In the showroom, he’s known for a thoughtful, client-first approach to sales, while behind the scenes his meticulous attention to detail ensures flawless operations and delivery. Yaser’s ability to “do it all” makes every customer experience seamless from start to finish.
Allison Fitz
Allison Fitz brings a strong combination of organization, people skills, and business insight to the Fitz Fine Furniture team. A recent graduate of Clemson University, she has hands-on business experience, including an internship with T-Mobile, where she built a solid foundation in operations, teamwork, and customer engagement. Known for her attention to detail and approachable nature, Allison helps support both our team and our customers to ensure a smooth, well-run showroom experience.
